Gives a view of a gringo learning to work with and for Peruvians while doing geological field studies in support of exploration for metallic mineral deposits for future mining ventures. Good insights if you plan to spend a lot of time in the field and eating local food. The author also meets and marries a Peruvian lady. But it 's overly long (basically a printed form of his journal of two field seasons) and personal opinions/gripes about US environmental and antiquities regulations are annoying.Product details
